Christmas & Holidays Dictation: Seasonal Food and Meals
A2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Find the food word, then listen for what someone does with it. Are they cooking, serving or keeping it for later? Leftovers are food left after a meal. Pudding means a sweet course here, and mince pies are sweet pies, despite their name. You can understand the scene even if these foods are new to you. Keep listening for the bowl, plate or other dish as well. Those words tell you where the food goes and belong in your answer.
