Travel & Tourism Dictation: Stations and Departures
A2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Listen for where the traveller goes or what has changed. A platform is where passengers board a train; a departure board gives information about leaving services. Delayed means later than expected. The number, direction or reason around those words is part of the message, so keep it too. You may hear change trains, which means move to another service rather than change a booking. Write the full sentence, including small words such as from, along and before that show the traveller's route or timing.
