Future Tenses Final Test
A2-B2 Level
This comprehensive test covers every future form you have studied: will
for quick decisions and predictions, going to for planned intentions and
evidence-based predictions, present continuous for fixed arrangements,
present simple for timetables, future continuous for
actions in progress at a future time, and future perfect for actions
completed before a deadline. The questions progress from easier (A2) to more challenging
(B2), testing your ability to choose the correct form based on the context.
To do well on this test, focus on the context clues in each question. Look for signal words: "I think" (will), "Look!" (going to), specific appointment times (present continuous), timetable language (present simple), "by" and "before" (future perfect), and "at this time tomorrow" (future continuous). If you score above 80%, you have a solid understanding of English future forms. If you find certain questions difficult, go back to the individual exercises for that specific future form and practise again. Remember that mastering future forms takes time, and regular practice is the best way to build confidence for Cambridge and IELTS exams.
