Present Perfect Mixed Practice Easy
A2 Level
This easy mixed practice combines all the main uses of the present perfect in
one exercise set, giving you a chance to review everything at a comfortable A2 level. You will practise
forming positive and negative sentences, making questions with "have" and "has," using time expressions
like already, yet, just, ever, and never, and choosing between since and
for. The questions are deliberately straightforward, with clear context clues to guide your
answers. This makes it an ideal warm-up before moving to intermediate practice.
Mixed exercises are valuable because they force you to identify which present perfect pattern is needed, rather than practising one pattern in isolation. In real communication and in exams, you never know which tense or structure will be required next — you need to read the context and decide. At A2 level, the key skills being tested are: forming the tense correctly (have/has + past participle), choosing the right helper verb for the subject, using common irregular past participles, and placing adverbs in the correct position. If you score above 80% here, you are ready for intermediate practice.
