Grammar review
An indirect question sits inside a polite opening such as Could you tell me or I wonder and uses statement order: Do you know when the ferry leaves?, not when does the ferry leave. Is, can and a negative don't are kept, after the subject. A yes/no question needs if or whether: I wonder whether the museum sells postcards.
