Comparatives & Superlatives Dictation: Short Adjective Comparatives
A2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Listen to the end of the adjective. The er sound tells you that two things are being compared. Than may be much quieter, but it leads to the other person or thing in the comparison. Try hearing both sides before typing. When you write, think about spelling too: some adjectives double a letter, and a final y can change to i. Do not add more before an er form unless the recording actually has it. Keep the comparison as spoken.
