Comparatives & Superlatives Dictation: Degree and Changing Comparisons
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
How big is the difference, and is it still changing? Listen for the word before the comparative: slightly and a little make a small difference, while much, far and a lot make it larger. Repeated comparatives describe continuing change. A sentence with the before two comparatives links one change to another, so stay with both halves. I'd check for every repeated word before submitting; repetition is part of the grammar here, even when it feels tempting to shorten it.
