Possessives & Apostrophes Dictation: Whose and Owner Questions
A2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Catch whose at the start when the speaker asks who owns something. It can come before the thing's name or before is or are. Whose sounds like who's, but these questions concern ownership. Other questions offer two possible owners, so listen for or and the second possessive phrase. Yours, mine and ours can stand without repeating the object. Keep the question as heard. When a named owner's singular and plural possessives sound alike, the matching alternatives are accepted in this set.
