Prepositions Dictation: Movement and Directions
A2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Picture the route as you hear the action. Into means entering, out of means leaving, and across takes you from one side to another. Other words tell you about moving higher, lower or beyond a place. These short words can change the whole route. Listen to them with the verb and the place that follows. Keep both words in out of, and do not replace a direction word with one you prefer. Write the movement the speaker actually describes.
