Personal Pronouns Dictation: It and They for Things
A2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Remember the thing named at the start. It points back to one thing; they and them can point back to several things in this set. They can be the subject of a later action, while them follows a verb such as carry or a preposition. It keeps the same form in both places. Listen for the noun's number, then catch the later pronoun. Keep the connecting word too: but and so tell you how the second part relates to the first.
