Restaurant & Food Dictation: Booking and Arrival
A2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Catch the number of people and the time around the booking word. A reservation is an arrangement made before arriving, and a party here means the group eating together. It does not have to mean a celebration. Listen to the action too: making a booking and cancelling one are different. Keep the polite words at the start of a request. They may be quiet, but they belong with the table, seating or arrival detail you are trying to hear.
