Adjective Order Dictation: Material Before Purpose
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Listen right through to the final noun: the word before it may tell you what the object is for. A purpose word such as cooking stays close to the noun, with the material before it. Some purpose words end in -ing; others look like ordinary nouns. They are still part of the description here. Keep that final group together when you type, then check any earlier words. The task is to capture the object described, including its material and use.
