Adjective + Preposition Dictation: Reactions with By
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Listen for the reaction first, then follow by to its cause. The cause might be a person, a decision or something someone notices. Words such as shocked and reassured have endings worth hearing carefully; they are not all pronounced alike. I'd replay the adjective and by together if that part sounded unclear. Other prepositions can work with some of these adjectives in other contexts. Your job here is to keep the partnership actually spoken, along with the words explaining the reaction.
