Present Continuous Dictation: Fixed Future Arrangements
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Keep the present continuous form even when the sentence is about the future. Am, is or are with an -ing verb can describe an arranged plan. The day, appointment time or other future detail helps you understand when it will happen. Listen for the people involved as well as the activity, and retain any place or transport detail. You do not need to replace the verb with will to show future time. The recording already gives you a natural way to express the arrangement.
