Relative Clauses Dictation: Things with Which and That
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Catch which or that and keep listening to the description after it. The word points back to a thing already named. Sometimes it does the action in the smaller clause; sometimes a person does something to it. That changes what follows the relative word, so hear the whole phrase. Which and that can both introduce defining descriptions in suitable contexts, but dictation asks for the one spoken. Do not swap them or leave one out because another version would also make sense.
