Relative Clauses Dictation: Possession with Whose
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Hear whose with the noun immediately after it. Together they link someone to a thing, person or event connected with them. Whose sounds like who's, but here it is about a relationship or possession, not who is. The smaller clause may then describe what happened to that related thing before the main sentence returns to the person. Keep track of both. You do not need to repeat an owner's name or add another possessive word; write the link the speaker actually uses.
