Present Perfect Dictation: Present Results and Finished Past
B2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Hear the first verb group and the later past event separately. The present perfect gives a result or experience connected to now, while the past simple supplies a finished occasion or detail. The speaker may be describing the same wider story, but that does not make the verb forms identical. Listen for have or has in one part and the actual past form in the other. Time phrases help you follow the distinction. Preserve both as spoken instead of adjusting the tense to match your interpretation.
