Grammar review
Each item crosses word order with a second check, such as the verb form after the auxiliary, agreement, or an added n't, so spotting inversion alone isn't enough. Before learners choose, ask them to find the phrase at the front: is it negative or limiting, and is the gap in the main clause or in a time clause?
