Quantifiers Dictation: Much and Many
A2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Notice the noun after much or many. Many goes with things you can count separately, such as cups. Much goes with an amount such as juice. In a question, how many asks for a number and how much asks for an amount. Listen for both words of that opening. Keep the negative if the sentence says there is not much or not many. Write the whole sentence, including the noun's ending. Do not add an -s to an amount word just because it means more than one.
