Question Tags Dictation: Tags with Be
A2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Catch is, are, was or were in the statement before listening to its short tag. The tag repeats that form of be, with the opposite positive or negative form in this set. Its final person word points back to the subject: one room is it, while several windows are they. Present and past forms both appear, so hear the actual verb instead of guessing from the scene. Write the whole sentence, including not in a negative statement and the short ending afterwards.
