Question Tags Dictation: Modal and Perfect Tags
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Find the first auxiliary or modal in the statement. That is the word the tag follows here: a perfect phrase uses have or has, while a modal phrase keeps its modal. Will has the negative form won't, so the two can sound quite different. Listen for the pronoun at the end too, then check whether the statement and tag have opposite positive and negative forms. Keep the exact tag you hear rather than replacing it with a general do question.
