Question Tags Dictation: Past Simple Tags
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Hear the past event first, then catch did or didn't in the tag. The action verb from the statement does not repeat there. A positive past statement takes a negative tag in this set, while a negative one takes a positive tag. The final pronoun points back to the subject, so plural guests become they, for example. Keep the full statement as well as the ending. You are practising the spoken words, not deciding whether the voice shows certainty or surprise.
