Reflexive Pronouns Dictation: Doing Things Alone
A2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Catch by before the reflexive word. By myself can mean alone or without help; the action and the rest of the sentence tell you which meaning fits. A group can also do something by themselves, without someone outside the group helping. Listen for -self or -selves as well as the person at the start. Keep the whole phrase in your answer. Leaving out by can change its job in the sentence, so do not write only the longer word that is easier to hear.
