Reflexive Pronouns Dictation: Useful Reflexive Chunks
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Hear the complete expression rather than translating the reflexive word on its own. Enjoy yourself is about having a pleasant time; help yourself invites you to take something. Keeping something to yourself means not telling other people. The little words around the reflexive are part of those meanings, so keep them too. Listen for whether the phrase concerns one person or a group, and retain -self or -selves accordingly. Write the whole spoken message: a familiar expression may be followed by a useful reason or detail.
