Word Order Dictation: Statement Word Order
A2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Listen for who does the action, then what they do and what the action involves. A statement often puts the person or thing first, the verb next and an object after it. An extra word such as can may come before the main action. Keep that word too. Then listen for the place, time or other detail at the end. Write the same order you hear. You are not making a new sentence from separate words, so do not move a phrase to a different place.
