Adverb vs Adjective Dictation: Good and Well
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Hear good and well as different words with different jobs. Good usually describes a thing or its quality; well often tells you how an action is done. There is one useful extra meaning: someone who feels or looks well is healthy. So the verb before well will help you understand it, but it does not automatically make well an adverb. Listen for any words such as very or enough around it. Keep the speaker's exact wording rather than replacing either word with the other.
