Business & Work Dictation: Orders, Costs and Budgets
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Is the speaker asking about a price, placing an order or recording a payment? Follow that stage of the purchase to make sense of the vocabulary. A quotation gives a proposed price; an invoice tells you what is owed. They are different documents, even if both mention money. Listen closely to words such as includes and not, which tell you what a charge covers. Keep quantity and delivery details as well. A sentence about buying something needs more than its main money word.
