Phrasal Verbs Dictation: Relationships and Social Life
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Use the social situation to understand the whole verb phrase. Falling out and making up describe different stages of a disagreement; other phrases describe admiration, visiting or becoming less close. Some need two short words after the main verb, so do not stop at the first particle. Listen through to the person or situation being described. Keep the heard tense too. You may know a one-word synonym, but write the actual phrase: the purpose is to hear how these expressions work inside a complete message.
