Phrasal Verbs Dictation: Travel and Journeys
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Listen past the main travel verb to its short partner. Off, in, out of and back help tell you what happens during the journey. Getting off and getting out of describe leaving different kinds of transport, so keep the full phrase. A past form may sound different from the verb you learnt first, but the particle still matters. Listen to the place or reason that follows. Write the original word order, even if another position would be possible with a different sentence.
