Phrasal Verbs Dictation: Problems and Solutions
B2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Decide whether the phrase describes encountering a problem, understanding it or taking action. Run into need not involve physical running, and rule out means exclude a possible explanation. The wider sentence helps you hear those meanings. Keep every particle, including the two in combinations such as cut down on. Also listen for the condition, reason or time attached to the action. Do not move the object or replace the phrase with a synonym. Your answer needs the speaker's full account of the difficulty or solution.
