Subject Verb Agreement Dictation: Everyone, Each and Nobody
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Notice everyone, nobody, each or every near the start. They point to people or things individually and take singular agreement in these sentences. A plural noun inside a phrase with of does not make each itself plural. Listen for the verb ending, or for is and has, after the complete subject phrase. Keep the group detail too: understanding the grammar is not a reason to shorten the subject. Write the exact spoken form rather than adding a plural verb because the message concerns several people.
