Used To / Would Dictation: Past Habit Negatives and Questions
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Catch did at the start of a question or did not in a negative. The written phrase after it is use to, followed by a base verb. Use to can sound much like used to in a positive statement, so the auxiliary helps you follow the structure. Some questions begin with a question word before did. Keep that order, and retain not where it is spoken. You are recording an old routine or a question about one, not changing the sentence into a positive habit.
