Used To / Would Dictation: Would for Repeated Past Actions
B2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Listen to the past setting before you interpret would. A childhood period, an old workplace or recurring visits can make would describe repeated actions. Here it is not an invitation or an imagined conditional result. The main action stays in its base form after would. Keep the setting and the repeated occasion together with it; they explain the routine. Would does not generally replace used to for a continuing past state, but you do not need to change any heard form in this dictation.
