Wh- Questions & Question Order Dictation: Embedded Information Questions

Listen to the polite opening, then follow the smaller question inside it. After where, when, why or whether, that information clause uses statement order: its subject normally comes before its verb. There is no need to turn it into a direct question. Sometimes who or which bus itself names the missing subject, so you will not hear another subject added. Keep the whole recorded request, including the opening can, could or do. Shortening it may preserve the meaning, but it would lose words from the dictation.
