Wh- Questions & Question Order Dictation: Subject and Object Questions
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Ask whether who or what names the missing doer, or asks about something receiving the action. A subject question can go straight to the main verb without do or did. An object question has another subject and may use do, does or did before it. That distinction helps you hear why two questions beginning with who have different shapes. Listen to the complete opening, then preserve the recorded pattern. Do not insert did into every past question or remove it just because who already makes the question clear.
