Basic Reflexive Pronouns - Advanced
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Many items practise natural expressions such as pleased with themselves, angry with myself, sure of himself, take care of yourself, and familiarise themselves with. A few sentences include fixed phrases or emphatic uses, such as beside themselves with excitement and the concert itself. The grammar is not about memorising a list; it is about checking whether the sentence refers back to the same subject. Prepositions can hide that connection, so read beyond the blank. This route also checks plural forms such as ourselves and yourselves, which are easy to miss in longer sentences.
