Basic Reflexive Pronouns - Easy

Reflexive pronouns show that the subject and the object are the same person or thing. Here, you choose between myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, and themselves. The key step is to find the subject first. If the subject is I, use myself; if it is she, use herself; if it is the children, use themselves.

These sentences practise common everyday patterns such as hurt yourself, teach himself, enjoy ourselves, and be proud of yourself. Some sentences use names or nouns instead of pronouns, so you need to translate the subject in your mind: Maria means she, Tom means he, and the cat means it. Do not choose a reflexive because it sounds familiar; choose the one that matches the subject exactly. This route keeps the contexts short, so the main challenge is accurate agreement, not difficult vocabulary. That builds accuracy before harder reflexive verb choices later.
