Grammar review
Look after the gap first. Whose goes before a noun that belongs to someone or something: a writer whose novels sell everywhere. Where follows a place and needs a complete clause: the beach where they got engaged. If a subject or object is missing, use who for people and which for things, including places: the beach which they photographed.
