-ed vs -ing Adjectives Dictation: People and Feelings
A2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Listen to how the person feels, especially the end of the adjective. An ed adjective can describe their feeling or state. The ending is not always pronounced as a separate syllable, so hear the whole word. Then listen for the event that explains it. Felt, looked and seemed also tell you how the feeling is described. Keep those words in your answer. Do not write an ing adjective just because it sounds similar; that can change the meaning.
