Adjective + Preposition Final Test
A2-C1 Level
This final test brings together adjective + preposition combinations from every
level and preposition group covered in this module. You will face questions ranging from basic A2
phrases like "good at" and "afraid of" to advanced C1 phrases like "prone to" and "sceptical
about," with some questions offering multiple-choice options and others requiring you to type the
preposition from memory. This mixed format tests both recognition and recall — the two skills
needed for confident preposition use in real English.
The test covers all main preposition groups — at, in, of, for, to, about, with, and from — plus less common prepositions like "on" (keen on) and "by" (fascinated by). If you score well here, you have a strong command of adjective + preposition phrases across all levels. If you find certain prepositions difficult, return to the specific practice exercise for that group. Pay attention to which mistakes you make — most learners consistently confuse the same two or three prepositions, and identifying your personal weak points is the fastest path to improvement at any level.
