Business English Dictation: Arranging Meetings
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Work out what is happening to the meeting: is someone suggesting it, confirming it or changing it? The verb phrase gives you that information, and the day or time tells you the arrangement. Postponed means moved until later; cancelled means it will not happen as planned. A present continuous phrase can describe a future appointment, so keep that form if you hear it. Listen once for the message, then replay for the complete time and place. Small words such as until and to matter here.
