Business English Dictation: Presenting Trends
B2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Separate the direction of the change from its size or pace. A verb may tell you that something increased, decreased or stayed stable; the next word can show how strongly or how gradually it changed. Listen for both, rather than keeping only the headline trend. Notice whether the speaker links the change to now or describes an earlier period, and retain that verb form. Time phrases and comparisons belong to the message too. There is no need to supply numbers when the recording gives none.
