Ellipsis & Substitution Dictation: Agreement with Neither and Nor
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Hear the first negative before following the agreement. Neither or nor says that the negative is true for the next person too. The helping verb comes before that person, and it does not need another not: neither or nor already supplies the negative meaning. That can feel like a surprisingly small way to say quite a lot 😅. Listen for the exact linker and helping verb. Keep the shortened clause in its spoken order, rather than repeating the full action or adding a second negative.
