These B2 questions are close to Cambridge B2 First word formation style. Start by identifying the gap, then check whether the meaning is positive or negative. Look for clues such as articles, plural nouns, verbs after to, and adverbs before adjectives. Do not stop after the first possible related word; test it in the sentence. Many mistakes happen when learners form a correct word family member but leave it as the wrong word type. Build the answer carefully, then check spelling changes such as final -y, final -e, and double consonants.
Quick Rule
base word -> correct noun, adjective, adverb or verb, sometimes with a prefix plus suffix
