Causative (Have/Get Done) Dictation: Everyday Services with Have
A2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Listen for what comes between have or had and the service word. It is the thing being cleaned, checked or repaired. The person usually asks someone else to do the job; they do not do it themselves. Have or has can describe a regular service, and had can describe a past one. Keep the thing and the final verb together as you listen. Then write the whole sentence. Do not leave out my, her or their: those small words tell you whose thing it is.
