Confusing Verbs Dictation: Borrow and Lend
A2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Ask who receives the thing and who gives it. Borrow means receive it for a time; lend means give it for a time. The thing should come back later. Listen for from or to if the sentence has one, but also hear the person at the start. Lend can be followed straight away by the person receiving the thing. Its past form is lent. Keep all the people and things in the order you hear, so your sentence shows the same exchange.
