Confusing Verbs Dictation: Remember Remind and Recall
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Listen to what follows the memory word. Remember to do something is about keeping an intended action in mind; remember doing something is about a memory of the action. Remind names the person being prompted, often followed by to, of, about or that. Recall is about bringing information or a memory to mind. Keep the whole phrase, not just the main verb. A negative such as do not remember says the memory is missing; it does not by itself prove that the action never happened.
