Containers & Partitives Dictation: Drinks and Their Containers
A2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Listen for the container before the drink. That word tells you how the drink is served or carried. A bottle, cup and jug are different, even if they hold the same drink. The little word of joins the two parts and can sound very quiet. If you hear a number greater than one, check for the s on the container word. The drink often stays the same. Keep words such as small and another too; they add detail about the amount.
