Containers & Partitives Dictation: Packets Tins and Jars
A2 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Notice how the food or product is packed. A tin, jar and packet are different things, so keep the container word you hear. Then listen for of and what is inside. Numbers help you hear whether the container is singular or plural. Sometimes the sentence names the container later instead of using an of phrase. Keep that order. You can picture the shopping or cupboard while you listen; it helps you follow the sentence without turning it into a list of products.
