Compound Words Dictation: Common Compound Adjectives
B1 Level
English Exercises is teacher-led by Charlie. About the teacher · How content is made
Hold the whole description together before the noun. Two words can work as one description, telling you about suitability, timing or how something was made. You may see a hyphen in the written form, but the listening job is to catch both parts. Not all combinations need a hyphen, especially those beginning with an -ly adverb. That punctuation is not scored here. Focus on the exact word forms and keep the noun they describe. A short, familiar ending can still be worth another listen.
